I love experimenting with color on my nails and toe-nails during the summer. It is the ideal time to try something new and bold! This summer, the most popular nail colors range from tones of blues and greens to chili pepper reds to bright corals and pinks to neutrals and whites.
Here are a few of our top recommendations to try out this season…
1. Essie In the Cabana :: A blue-ish aqua that is super pretty on.
2. OPI Bubble Bath :: An all-time favorite for me. Looks extra fab with a tan!
3. Essie Hip-Anema :: A bright and orangey red, that I am wearing on my toes as I type this!
4. Lancome Vernis in Love #311 :: A wearable neon pink that I have been wearing off and on all Spring.
5. Essie Off the Shoulder :: InStyle Magazine recently rated this polish as an overall best “bright” polish, since it is a “carnation pink with a touch of coral that makes it easy to wear on fingers, too, even in the office.”
6. Essie California Coral :: In my book, coral is the ideal summer nail color, complimenting nearly anything you could wear and flattering every skin tone. This one is bright and cheery, without being over the top.
7. Sally Hansen Blue in My Mind :: For those of you who are a little more daring, electric blue is a fun shade to try out this summer. This one was recently rated highly by Allure Magazine, as a color that “is reflective, but doesn’t shout.“
8. Essie Turquoise and Caicos :: This is a flirty and pretty tropical aqua leans more green than blue {as opposed to #1 above}. I am currently wearing this on my fingernails right now and I love it paired with #3 above…turquoise and red are such a fun color combo!

P.S. I was just browsing through Target’s cosmetics and just found one more polish to add to this list that I LOVE and plan on wearing next :: Essie’s Sunday Funday. It is a pretty coral-pink-watermelon shade with just a hint of sparkle. SO pretty!
