The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is now open to the public!! Since many items have sold out, I went back into my local Nordstrom store yesterday to try on in-stock styles for another round-up.

Here are my favorite pieces from yesterday’s Nordstrom trip ::
Cupcakes and Cashmere plaid shirt dress. This is a great staple Fall dress. {It also comes in a gorgeous cobalt blue.} It’s longer length is perfect for you taller/long waisted gals. If you head over to my Snapchat {LaurenLefevre} from yesterday, you can see how I belted it and liked the look. Here is an example of a belt that would pair perfectly. This dress can be worn with ankle booties or tall boots, and also paired with tights in cold weather. I am wearing a size Small, but would purchase an XS…I felt it ran roomy.
Halogen Textured Coat. I am smitten with this coat, and honestly had not even seen it on the sale until yesterday! This light grey color is perfect for pairing over just about everything! And I cannot get over the fact that it is just $84!!
B.P. Plaid Shirt. I am not quite sure how I missed this shirt in my first round of sale picks, but it is the perfect plaid shirt for Fall! It comes in four colors. {See the picture below for another color option.} I love how soft it is and its oversized fit, making it long enough to wear over leggings. I am wearing an XS for size reference. Oh, and it’s under $30!
Hudson Gray Jeans. I am excited to sport gray jeans this Fall. I haven’t owned a pair in past season’s and they just go with SO much! I love this distressed version by Hudson. They are flattering to the leg and the ideal shade of gray. I recommend going up one size. I am wearing a size 26 here {my typical jeans size} and they felt a bit snug through the hips/butt/thighs.
B.P. Plaid Shirt. Here is the plaid shirt I talk about above in a different color.
Articles of Society Denim Skirt. Every gal needs a denim skirt as a year-round wardrobe staple. This one is a good length for versatility, especially for you ladies with long legs! It’s $38 and fits true to size, with some stretch for comfort. I am wearing a size 26, my typical jeans size.
B.P. Open Front Cardigan. If you love a good cardigan in cool weather, you need to stock up on a few of these! They are just $31 and provide cozy warmth as well as a slouchy fit that can pair over anything from jeans to dresses to skirts. It comes in five colors and I love the burgundy color paired over this plaid shirt.
Rag and Bone Vest. I have to say this is possibly my favorite “splurge” item from the sale since I LOVE a good vest! This one is just gorgeous and the possibilities are endless on how it can be worn! I haven’t purchased it yet, but am highly considering it! I truly feel like this is an investment piece to love and wear from years to come!
Blank NYC Drape Faux-Leather Jacket. This is jacket is one of the stars of the sale, and with a $65 price tag, it’s a no-brainer purchase! It fits like a dream and also comes in black. I don’t think this jacket will be stocked through end of day, so snag one ASAP! I am wearing a size XS.
Kut by the Cloth Distressed Straight Jeans. If you are looking for an affordable distressed jean, these are a great option. At just $54 they mimic designer pairs, and I especially love the unfinished hem, which is a feature you’ll see on very high end jeans. I am wearing a size 2 for reference…they run true to size.
Guess Hooded Jacket. I always love a classic ivory coat. This one is gorgeous and has the added bonus of a hood! It’s just $129.
Halogen Zip-Front Jacket. Here’s another gray jacket option I really like. It’s a slightly shorter and more casual fit than the one I featured above. This is a great everyday coat!
B.P. Longsleeve Tee. This is a staple you must pick up during the sale! It’s one of the softest tees I have ever tried on and I love that the longer length allows you to wear it with leggings, as well as skinny jeans. It’s just $17.90, and this olive green is an “it” color for Fall!
