#nsale favs :: round #2

Happy Friday! I got such a fantastic response to yesterday’s post about the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, I wanted to share a few more dressing room selfies and favorites with you. {If you missed my first post about my top 12 sale picks, click here.}

I’m a huge fan of Alice and Olivia. Their dresses fit so well and are classic pieces to invest in. I love this one! It also looks cute with a slim black collared blouse or turtleneck layered under it.

This Cupcakes and Cashmere dress is fun and flirty…a piece that can be worn now into Fall. I love this Cupcakes and Cashmere creamy faux leather jacket, too! Such a pretty color that will pair with everything. And for under $100, it is a total steal.

I have found a great pair of flared jeans each of the past couple years on the Nordstrom sale, and this pair by STS Blue are my pick for this year! They are just $45 and a flattering high-waisted fit for all body types. These could be dressed up for casual office days, too. {My top is a classic DVF that is also on sale. Shop it here.}

Long vests were my most-worn layering piece last Fall/Winter, so I was anxious to shop some new ones during the sale. This Trouve Longline vest is simple and classic, allowing it to pair over almost anything from a work-look {think trousers or a pencil skirt} to jeans or leather pants.

I tell my wardrobe styling clients each Fall that a denim/chambray shirt is a wardrobe essential. This one is soft and comfortable and only $39! I love the wash color, too.

Red is the IT color this Fall and a red coat is a fun way to incorporate this trend!! I am in love with this coat and it’s currently on its way to my house! {It runs large…I am wearing a Petite Small here.}

This Helene Berman fringed plaid vest is to die for!! Perfect for the holidays and anything wintery. It’s a statement that will remain timeless for years.

You all know I have a thing for cold-shoulder tops! So when I saw this long-sleeved version on the steal, I had to snag it! I love this now with white and later with denim. I typically wear an XS {which is what I am wearing here} but bought the size Small since it runs a bit fitted through the waist.

This little striped dress is so cute and just $25! Wear it now sleeveless and layered later!

Stylishly yours,

    Loooove your style! So happy I found your blog. I tried on the AG jeans today and both the 26 and 27 fit great, but they were sold out of the style that you have. I’m planning to order some, but I wanted to ask if you’d recommend going the more fitted 26s or fits, but lil comfier 27s? This will
    Be my first pair of AG jeans so I’m not sure how they wear..if the get a lil baggy as you wear them or shrink in the wash, etc. I’d greatly appreciate your advice! Thanks!

      Hi! Thank you so much for reading my blog!! I’m happy you found it, too!. 🙂

      AG’s are some of my favorite jeans and they run TTS. I would get the 26 because they will stretch some for sure! I just wash mine and then hang dry and then fluff them in the dryer once mostly dry. You will love them. Feel free to email me lauren@editbylauren.com if you have more questions…I am happy to help!!
