“neutral” metallics

When going through a client’s closet, I always take inventory of what “neutral” accessories they have. By “neutral,” I mean accessories {shoes, jewelry, handbags, belts and scarves} that can go with blacks, browns, grays, as well as colors. The best neutrals, in my opinion, are metallics. Metallics pair with just about anything, look great year-round and make getting dressed {and packed for a trip} a breeze.
Now you’ll better understand why I was elated when I received this gorgeous gold metallic scarf in the mail, compliments of FRAAS.

What color metallic should you go with, you ask?! I think everyone needs some gold and some silver in their wardrobe, but typically each person prefers one over the other. For instance, I primarily wear gold, but keep a few pieces of silver jewelry on hand in case I need silver to pair with grays, etc. {It is also okay to mix up your metals, mixing gold and rosegold or gold and silver.}

Stylishly yours,
