Best Purchases of 2017

Happy New Year, everyone!

I thought it would be fun to take a look back at my best purchases from the last year. I’ve had fun scrolling back through my outfits from 2017 and identifying the items I have worn time time and time again, to the point where they are must-have, can’t-live- without staples in my wardrobe!

Most of these exact items are still available, and I’ve linked up similar items to any that are sold out.

1. Lush Raw Edge Side Slit Tee :: One of the best tees I’ve ever owned. It’s $24 and fits perfectly tucked in or out, layered or alone. I own it in four colors and wear them all constantly, year round!

2. Anthropologie Concentric Circles Necklace :: Hands-down my most worn necklace of the year. It’s $48 and goes with EVERYTHING. Just look at my Instagram feed @laurenlefevre to see all the ways I wear it!

3. Gucci Marmot Mini Camera Bag :: This bag was a spurge but oh-so-worth it! I wear it all the time and love that the small size goes from day to night. It’s actually big enough to hold my iPhone Plus as well as my little card holder wallet, sunnies and a lip gloss or two!

4. Halogen Tansy Studded Slip Ons :: My best sneaker purchase of the year…and so good I have them in two colors. I wear these year round with everything from shorts to casual dresses to leggings and jeans. They are SO comfy!

5. Spanx Moto Leggings. You can see from the above two pictures how I pair these ultra-flatter leggings with everything from sneakers to heels. These are my go-to’s when I want to be comfy and still look chic. Best legging purchase you can make!

6. Trina Turk One Piece Ruffled Suit ::  One of the most unique and flattering suits I  have ever owned.  I get compliments everytime I wear this! I love that it protects your shoulders from sun and also looks like a cute top to wear to a poolside cafe when paired with denim cutoffs/shorts. It also comes in a gorgeous solid fuchsia here.

7. Quay Aviator Sunglasses. The best $55 sunglasses I have ever purchased! I wore these fun sunnies ALL Spring/Summer long in both pink and the black frames. They also fit well under a baseball cap. If you haven’t yet checked out Quay sunglasses, they are some of the best affordable shades around. This pair of Sonix sunnies, seen in pic #1 above are my other favorite sunnies purchase of the year.

8. Lush Ruffle Sleeve Tee Shirt Dress :: I found a new found love this Spring/Summer/Fall for the tee shirt dress due to this comfy, affordable one by Lush. Sadly, this exact one is currently sold out, but you better believe I will be on the look out for it to hopefully be restocked this Spring! In the mean time found a similar version here and here.

9. Sanctuary Cold Shoulder Camo Tee :: I love a good camo tee this cold shoulder version is one of the best I’ve owned! I love it paired with shorts and with jeans, and it’s become a weekend staple. It’s available in more sizes here.

10. Endless Rose Ribbon Tie Lace Top :: This is my favorite blouse purchase of the year! I bought it for NYFW in September and have worn it countless ways since. The back-ribbon detailing is gorgeous and it’s truly a top that can be worn year-round. It’s so pretty in person, it’s hard to believe it’s under $100!

11. Free People Embroidered Mini Dress :: This is my go-to dress for Spring/Summer. I own it in two colors and will most likely add a third color this Spring. I love it on vacation paired with flat sandals and on a night out with a wedge. It’s perfectly flattering and comfortable and worth every penny. It’s also on sale in a pretty hot pink right now!

12. Jeffrey Campbell Rayos Perforated Wedge Sandals. By far one of my best sandal purchases ever. These are comfortable, dress up or down and look fab with jeans, shorts, skirts and dresses.

13. Free People Jordan Burnout Tee. This is my other favorite tee purchase of the year. I love how it’s super-soft, slouchy and that the front key-hole cut-outs add something unique. It’s perfect worn alone with shorts/jeans for Spring/Summer and layered under jackets and cardigans for Fall/Winter. {I am wearing a size small.}

14. Barrington St. Anne Tote. My favorite tote EVER. I own it in three colors/patterns and pretty much always have it in my car with me. I use it as my lap-top/work back, travel carry-on and even sometimes as my gym bag!

15. Zella Hatha High Waist Crop Leggings :: The best under-$60 leggings I have found. I love the flattering high-waisted fit. I wear these comfortably for Orange Theory, barre and weight training and highly recommend!

16. Austrailia Luxe Collective Foxy Boots :: I got these boots last January and they have become my cold weather favs. I like them better than my Uggs because they are just as worm but so much more fun! These come in several colors, but I find this shade of gray to go with everything. I even wore these to a New Year’s Eve party!

17. Good American Good Legs Jeans :: I was introduced to Good American jeans during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale in July and the brand has been a go-to favorite since. Every pair I have tried on is so flattering and comfy…truly designed for a booty and curves. I particularly love the pair I am wearing here and have worn them constantly! Shop all the styles here. My other favorite jeans purchase of the year are these 7 For All Mankind Blair Jeans.

18. Free People Rainbow Thermal. I am all about a good thermal for Fall/Winter and this rainbow thermal is just so HAPPY! It comes in six color options and looks perfect alone or under a jacket or vest. It will be a fun piece to pull out each year!

19. Free People Laguna Thermal. Speaking of thermals, this $68 thermal comes in tons of colors and is another best purchase since it’s such a fall/winter staple! Comfy, soft and can be layered with vests, scarves, jackets…you name it! It’s worth stocking up on in a few colors.

20. Becca Crochet One-Piece :: Another favorite, can’t live without swimsuit of the year! It’s ultra flattering and comfortable! Get it and get ready for lots of compliments!

Stylishly yours,
