our #nsale shopping bags

By now it comes as no surprise that us Edit gals are quite possibly the BIGGEST fans ever of the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale!
That said, we thought it would be fun to share what is actually in each of our shopping bags {and what will soon be in our closets}!

1.  Tory Burch “Eloise” Riding Boot :: Y’all.  Here is what happened: I checked the price, fell all over myself trying to get to my credit card, and then bought them as fast as possible.

Unfortunately, so did quite a few others, and they are now unavailable. Boo. If you’re on the hunt for boots, these and these are also perfection.

2.  Halogen Leather and Knit Mixed Media Top :: My absolute favorite purchase from the sale.  I will wear this with my boyfriend jeans, skinny jeans, colored denim, and possibly even while I sleep at night.

What?

3.  Hinge Hooded Leather Jacket :: This jacket takes a comfy hoodie and makes it classy.  Magical. Unfortunately, it is now only available in XXSmall.  This jacket is also fantastic!

4.  Paige Denim “Skyline” Jeans :: I big puffy heart these.  They are the perfect length, and the wash is just right.

5.  Caslon Drape Neck Zip Cardigan :: An Edit client actually emailed Lauren and me about this piece.  Clearly, it was my duty to get myself to Nordstrom and try it on.

Just for you, reader.  Just for you.

1. Nike Training Shoe :: Let’s face it, we all run a little faster and workout a little harder when we are wearing cute shoes.

2.  Paige Denim Boyfriend Jean :: Boyfriend jeans are a wardrobe must have.  There are so many ways to wear a good pair of jeans, it’s a staple for any woman’s closet.

3. Quilted Leather Jacket :: Black leather can look a little harsh on some complexions.  I love this buttery camel color that looks great with neutrals as well as bold and bright hues.

4. Marc Jacobs Messenger Bag :: The perfect cross body that can go from day to night in a snap.  It’s a classic color and silhouette that will be stylish for many years.

5. Sam Edelman Ankle Cuff Heel ::  Every woman needs that pair of shoes in her closet that makes her feel like a rockstar.  These are it!  They are perfect with either jeans or your favorite LBD and come in 2 other colors.

1. Leather Moto Shorts by Elizabeth and James :: I am so excited to wear these fun shorts the latter part of summer and as I transition into Fall. Who says you cannot wear leather in the heat of summer?

2. ‘Jenny’ Leather Hobo Bag by Frye :: This versatile bag goes with everything–and apparently the Hobo style trend is here to stay!

3. Zip Front Leather Jacket by Halogen :: Officially my favorite new leather jacket. The zipper detail has just enough edge for me.

4. Hooded Fur Vest by Widgeon :: My daughter went nuts over this vest when it arrived yesterday. She is cuddling with it as I type. HA!

5. Block Font Personalized Necklace by Mona and Lola :: Call me a “southern” lady if you want, but I am obsessed with all things monogrammed.

6. Split Neck Pleione Blouse in Blue Mazarine :: I recommend this to clients as a layering piece that can carry through all seasons. If blue isn’t your thing–it comes in several other colors.

1. Trouve Textured Striped Crewneck Sweater :: This sweater is a true fall/winter staple and the price is too good to pass up. I purchased it this season in black and in gray. I plan on wearing with skinny jeans or leather leggings and accessorizing it with a long pendent necklace. It is the perfect light-weight sweater to go from day-to-night, casual to dolled-up.

2. J.Brand Skinny Jeans in Dark Plum :: A loyal Edit client recommended these jeans, and they truly are a “must have” for Fall. The fit is oh-so-flattering and the color will pair with just about anything!

3. Donald J. Pliner Devi 3 Boots :: These boots are my absolutely my favorite purchase of the sale. I treat myself to one pair of boots every Anniversary Sale, and these are this year’s “pick!” This boot is absolutely gorgeous in person {the pictures online do not do it justice!}.  If I had to put it in a category, they would be the “sophisticated western riding boot”!  You’ll be seeing me wear these lovelies with pretty much everything from dresses to jeans to leggings this Fall.

4. Halogen Marlie Calf Hair Pointed Toe Pumps :: Because leopard pumps are a go-to staple in my wardrobe all Fall and Winter, these shoes were a must-have. Priced at under $60, and with a mid-height heel, these are the perfect addition to every shoe collection {or replacement, in my case, to very worn pair of leopard pumps}. I promise you’ll thank me later when you realize that you can wear these with everything, neutral and colors alike!

5. Nike Free Connect 2 Training Shoes :: I talked about these Saturday on the blog, and had to highlight them again, because I am totally obsessed with these shoes! Undeniably, they my second most-favorite purchase from the sale!

Remember that this amazing sale ends and all of these items return to their original retail prices on August 4th, so shop soon!

Happy Sale Shopping!
