Joss & Main Girl’s Bedroom Reveal

I couldn’t be more excited to share with you my daughter, Lily’s, new bedroom reveal with Joss & Main!

When my boy/girl twins were babies, I decided I would love for them to share a room until they were five or six, and then create unique spaces for each of them. Jack and Lily turned six last month, and the time had come to separate their bedrooms.

I was thrilled to partner with Joss & Main and my talented design-blogger friend, Joni of Lay Baby Lay, to create boy/girl rooms that are age appropriate now but will also grow up with them.

This white velvet bed is super luxe and is a piece I envision taking Lily through high school! Her room doubles as a guest space, so this bed helps create an inviting and comforting spot for friends and family to land when they visit.

The gorgeous gold flush mount light fixture makes such a fun statement and casts the prettiest, magical-looking light across the room.

One of the elements Lily cared about most when we started the design process was mint walls, so we started there and pulled in lots of white and pops of fun, unexpected color! I love how the room looks so girly without the walls being pink! We custom mixed the perfect minty-blue hue with Sherwin Williams using their new Emerald Paint, which is super-durable for kid/family spaces. Edge2Edge Painting, who I highly recommend, did a fantastic job painting the room to perfection! {The color formula is 2041-70, which is a custom manual match for Irish Mint. Feel free to email me at lauren@editbylauren.com for a picture of the paint can label.}

This glam dresser is one of my favorite parts of the room. {If I am honest, I wish it was in my room!} It’s another piece that will stand the test of time as Lily grows up. In addition to being so gorgeous, it’s super sturdy and well built with felt-lined drawers. I love how the fun, colorful accessories on top makes the piece extra playful and girly.

This blue rug pulls the room together and is simply beautiful! It’s a versatile rug that can be used in any space of a house, and I love how it pulls so many colors together. It’s super soft and luxe feeling under foot, and is another element that will help special guests feel extra cozy.

The leather poufs provide a fun place to sit while reading and playing; and double as the spot where we lay Lily’s school clothes out each night.

The pop yellow lamps make such a whimsical, eye-catching statement. I love that the nightstands give plenty of storage space for books and treasures.

This desk has already endured countless hours of playtime, as it’s one of Lily’s favorite parts of her room. It’s just her size, has lots of spaces to organize her desk accessories and is complete with a working roll-top. It’s just the cutest!

Lily loves bunnies and we have been calling her “the bunny” since she has been a baby, so this bunny print was a perfect personal touch to her room.

This is such a happy space and I could not be more thrilled with how it turned out! For Lily, it’s a little girl’s dream come true. It’s obvious she’s so excited about her new bedroom and I cannot wait for all the fond memories that will made here!

Stylishly yours,

A giant THANK YOU to Joss & Main for sponsoring this bedroom makeover and to Joni of Lay Baby Lay for designing the space. Thank you to Sherwin Williams for providing the paint and Edge2Edge for painting the room. All opinions are completely my own, and I am so grateful for all of these amazing partners who made this project happen!
