I’m excited to collaborate today with one of my favorite Atlanta-bloggers, who has become a dear friend, Luisa, of the Peaches to Pearls blog. {Find her on Instagram @peachestopearls.} Luisa is not only one of the CUTEST people I have ever met, but she also has her masters in nutrition and is a dietetic intern. She is doing a blog series on Eating Pretty this month, and asked me to contribute on why I believe “dressing pretty” matters, particularly when it comes to staying active.

Let’s face it, when you are dressed well, you just feel better. You hold your head higher, are more inclined to look others in the eye and smile and your overall demenor and attitude change for the good. That’s one of the reasons why I am passionate about helping others find and develop their personal style.

I believe the same is true when it comes to workout attire. When you activewear that are not only cute but also fit well, breath well and make you feel comfortable and flattered, you are more inclined to work harder at the gym or studio.

For me, this outfit is an example of this. These leggings are not only “pretty,” but they are some of the most comfortable I’ve worn…perfect mid-rise, stretchy and a great weight for both indoor/outdoor workouts. This airy tunic is breathable, and transitions effortlessly from the gym to errand-running. {It can be worn with jeans and/or non-workout leggings, too!}

In regards to eating pretty, head over to the Peaches to Pearls blog today for this delicious, easy-to-make and super healthy Acai Berry Smoothie Bowl recipe. I cannot wait to try it myself!

When it comes to my exercise routine, I have been thoroughly enjoying working out at Flywheel Sports the past few months. I am excited to kick off a four-week Get Fit with FLY! challenge on January 25th, in which I will be committing to do 4 FlyWheel/FlyBarre classes each week. I will be working out at the Avalon studio in Alpharetta and would love you to join me! You can find all the details here. If you would like to join me for a free FlyWheel or FlyBarre class, email me at lauren@editbylauren.com and I will get you a complimentary class pass and we can try to schedule a class together! Also, sign up for the challenge with a friend, and you’ll both get 15% off!

Stylishly yours,
