beach trip

I just got back home from a fun week-long family vacation to Hilton Head Island, a place I grew up during my early childhood and now one of our favorite places to visit each year as a family. Since many of you are planning and packing for your own beach trips, I thought it would be fun to recap some of the looks I wore on the trip. {I’ve posted all these looks over on my Instagram @laurenlefevre, too!}

My favorite new bathing suit of the season is hands-down this custom-designed high-waisted bikini from Kini Swimwear. Kini is seriously one of the coolest swim companies around. You get to design your own suit, selecting the style {bikini, tankini or one-piece} and then customizing pretty much every other aspect from the fabric to the cut to all the details! I couldn’t be happier with how my design turned out and how the suit fits, and can’t wait to design another soon.

This dress was sent to me last week by an adorable online shop called Jess Lea Boutique and it could not be cuter or more comfy! I literally wore this to dinner the same evening it arrived at our beach house…a perfect “dinner with the kids in toe” outfit, that will also look cute paired with boots in the Fall!

This swimsuit was my favorite from last season, and I am happy to report that it is back in stock in white, along with a few other colors, this season! {See below links to shop from multiple stores that have it in stock in different sizes.} This suit is super flattering on everyone I have seen it on, and is comfortable and supportive enough for chasing kids around.

And can we talk about this gorgeous kimono?! It can be dressed down as a beach cover-up and then dressed up for the fanciest affair. I am obsessed, and cannot wait to style it multiple ways.

This one-peice is runner-up for my other favorite new suit of this season. If you are looking for a one-piece, this one fits amazing! {It’s also available in another color/pattern that is currently 40% off.}

When I look at this picture, I find it hard to believe how quickly my twin babies are growing up! {They are currently four and a half.}

An incredible sunglasses company called Cape Codders sent my hubby and I “matching” pairs of aviator shades for the trip. We are both huge fans! These glasses are incredibly light-weight, 100% polorized, come with a lifetime guarantee and are stylishly unique with wooden sides. I also love that this company gives back. We both cannot recommend them more highly. Mike and I are both wearing the Vineyard Avaitors. Mine are the “green flash” lenses and his are the “grey” lenses. {Use code “LL20” for 20% off your order!}

And a comfy shorts outfit for family bike and trolley rides around the island on our last day. These pull-on shorts have quickly become one of my go-to summer staples, and they are currently just $24.50, and available in multiple colors!
