Flawless in Five | The Beautycounter Five Minute Face

If you follow me on Instastories, you may have seen my Flawless in Five/Five Minute Face Tutorial. I have received so much traction and feedback from it, and I’ve been working on turning my tutorial into a Youtube video to share here on the blog! {If you are a Youtuber and wouldn’t mind following my new Youtube channel, I would so appreciate it!}

I’m honestly a product-junkie and have historically always taken more than five minutes to apply my makeup. So I was skeptical that someone like me, that loves using lots of products, would like the results of a “simple” set.

That said, after using these products over the past two months, I am full-on believer in the effectiveness of this six-step, Five Minute Face set. It’s perfect for a busy mornings and I even apply it in my car at stoplights while driving carpool and/or heading to the gym most days!

Without further a do, here is my Beautycounter Flawless in Five tutorial ::

Here’s a breakdown of the products I used :: These products can be purchased individually as well as part of a discounted set.

1. Tint Skin in Sand. Here is a link to the Beautyblender I use to apply the Tint Skin.

2. Concealer Pen in Light.

3. Mattifying Powder. {not included in the Flawless in Five set}

4. Matte Bronzer No 2. {not included in the Flawless Five set, but one of the best bronzer’s I’ve ever used. I just switched to shade No. 1 for Fall/Winter use.}

5. Powder Blush Duo in Flamingo/Apricot. Hands-down the prettiest blush color I have ever used.

6. Brow Pencil in Medium.

7. Eyeshadow Duo in Pearl/Champagne. {not included in Flawless in Five set, also doubles as a gorgeous face highlighter!}

8. Volumizing Mascara.

9. Lipgloss in Dahlia.

I used the amazing Riki Skinny Mirror to self-film this video. It has a magnetic phone clip to hold your phone while you film! I also use it to apply my makeup each day. One of my favorite purchases of the year!

Stylishly yours,

P.S. I am planning to start doing more style/beauty tutorials and would love to hear from you about what you would like to see! Please leave a comment or email me anytime at lauren@editbylauren.com with suggestions and ideas!
