wearing on repeat

I thought it would be fun to take a look back at my Instagram feed from 2014 to see what items in my closet I wore on repeat.
I narrowed down the the eight pieces I wore the most last year {and predict I’ll be wearing a ton this year, too}.

If you don’t have these items, I hope that this encourages you about how versatile each of the following “staples” can be in a wardrobe!

1. Paige Skyline skinny jeans. My favorite skinny jeans of all-time. I put my personal-styling clients in them all the time, and they amazingly fit so many different shapes and body-types.

2. Kendra Scott Rayne pendant necklace. This necklace hangs perfectly and pairs with almost-anything. It comes in so many color options, it is impossible to just own one!

3. Spanx faux-leather leggings. These are crazy-comfortable {think yoga pants} and have a subtle sheen that can dress up and down.

Shop the leggings ::

SPANX Fuax-Leather Leggings. {These are currently out of stock everywhere in certain sizes, but I have been told that they will be re-stocked this month!}

4. A striped tee. A timeless classic every gal should own.

Side note :: I get a lot of questions about this red skirt. I purchased it at J.Crew last Spring, but it is now on available at J.Crew Factory online for a steal! I have it in blue, too, and highly recommend it.

The tee I am pictured wearing is from J.Crew last Spring and no longer available. Here are two great options to shop ::

MICHAEL Michael Kors Stripe Crewneckl Tee.

Gap Stripe Boatneck Tee. {a great long-sleeved version}

5. Sole Society nude pumps. These are the best under $60 shoes you can buy! They go with everything, are super-comfy and can be worn year-round.

6. Black over-the-knee boots. Over-the-knee boots have become my go-to shoe this season. I am wearing both my heeled and flat versions of this boot all the time.

7. Cowgirl boots. A year-round staple that are laid-back, comfortable, and add a little style statement to every outfit.

I am pictured here wearing a denim jacket by AG that I purchased several years ago. This Pilcro jacket is very similar in the wash and fits like a dream ::

Stylishly yours,
