I'm excited to start sharing my New York Fashion Week outfits with you! It was a whirlwind trip as usual, and my favorite NYFW yet! The weather was Fall-like, sunny and perfect in New York...I wanted to bottle it up!

I stayed with two of my best girls at the Dream Midtown and we had such a lovely stay. We spent Saturday afternoon shooting around the city together and have some super cute pics to show you soon!

The first look I want to share is one of my favorites. Leather and lace are trending in big ways this Fall, and also happen to be two of my favorite staples each Autumn season.

You'll see leather trending this season in jackets, mini skirts and dresses. This little $60 jumper is just so comfy, and a great way to take leather from day to night. I plan on wearing it casually layered with a tee shirt and paired with sneakers, too!

When it comes to lace, I don't believe a girl can have too many lace tops in her wardrobe. I love that lace can be worn year-round and how it adds a feminine vibe to edgy leather.

This top is truly the most gorgeous lace blouse I have ever worn. The sleeves and the back-detailing are to die for! It's hard to believe it's under $100. {Head here to see another way I styled this same shirt while in NYC.}

Three ideas for styling leather and lace ::

1. Pair a lace blouse under a leather jacket for an edgy look that can be worn from day to night. I prefer wearing a sleeveless lace blouse like this one under jackets for comfort.

2. Pair a lace blouse with a faux-fur vest and leather pants/leggings. This is one of my go-to Fall looks year after year. Adding some faux-fur to a leather and lace look is just so glam! {I live in these faux-leather leggings all Fall/Winter.}

3. Tuck in a lace blouse into a leather pencil skirt for a workwear look. Then switch out the pencil skirt for a leather mini for a perfect going-out look for evening!

Last but not least, metallic booties are everywhere this season! I snagged this fun golden pair for NYFW and love them. So comfy, too! You'll be seeing a lot more of them in future posts.

Stylishly yours,
