The Perfect Tunic Top

Happy New Year! I hope your 2017 is off to a great start!

It’s been a nice and much-needed blog break this past week. {In case you missed it, read why I took a week-long blog break here.}

I enjoyed a fun trip to Florida to visit family and taking my twins to Disney World for their first time. We are now back home in Atlanta and I’m excited to kick off a fresh new year here on the blog.

I love finding a top that can be worn year round. When I discovered this Free People tunic top, I immediately knew it was such a piece. It comes in four color ways and can be styled for Fall/Winter with skinny jeans or leggings and then for Spring/Summer with shorts. It’s an easy top to style dressed up or down, and is both comfortable and flattering.

I am wearing it here with my favorite Frame black jeans. {Read why I think these jeans are worth the investment here.} I have also been wearing this top with my go-to Spanx faux-leather leggings, and they look perfect together!

On another New Year note, I am kicking off an online nutritional/workout program called The Faster Way to Fat Loss today! I have let stress and the busyness of life derail my workout regime and clean eating for too many months and am frankly just feeling “blah,” and certainly not my best!

After seeing one of my blogger friends have amazing results with this program, I was inspired to join her and a few other friends for this 6 week challenge. I’ve never done anything quite like this, and couldn’t be more ready and excited to get off the holiday bloat and to get back to feeling my best! I have already learned SO much just preparing for this bootcamp, and am looking forward to sharing my journey here on the blog, as well as on Snapchat @laurenlefevre and on IG @laurenlefevre.

In case you are already curious, here is info on the Faster Way to Fat Loss online program, that involves carb-cycling and intermittent fasting, as well as intense but short workouts that can be done at home or from a gym. {I am looking forward to spending less time working out and achieving results!}

I will be taking BCAA’s each morning in the form of a supplement pill called Catalyst {along with drinking Spark!} and drinking BioCharge during workouts, to ensure my body is burning fat instead of muscle and to help me gain lean muscle and tone. And I’ll be amping up my daily probiotic with  PB Assist, and continuing to take my go-to vitamins, Doterra Lifelong Vitality, that give me tons of energy! I plan on sharing some of my favorite recipes and workouts here on the blog over the next 6 weeks, as well as updates on my journey through this program.

Like I said in my last post right before the New Year, I would love to hear from you about what topics you would like to see me cover on the blog. Please send your ideas and feedback anytime to me at lauren@editbylauren.com.

Stylishly yours,

    Love love all of this! Very inspiring, and you shared great tips and advice (as always). Catalyst & Spark helped me lose weight and build muscle for my wedding. It really works! You already look amazing, and you are going to kick butt with this program. Thanks for being so awesome and relatable 🙂
