Much like basic tee shirts, solid ribbed tank tops are a summer staple in my wardrobe. It seems each year that stores change up the way their tanks fit, so I am on a hunt each summer for the a great-fitting basic tank. This summer, I am absoultley loving the Gap’s Essential Rib Tank. This tank fits perfectly {on the snug side, so order up a size if you don’t like to wear them tight}, stretches just enough but amazingly keeps it shape after hours of wear. I recommend stocking up on this tank in white and black, the two most versitale colors in my book, and then adding other colors if you like.
How do I wear my tanks? I wear them with shorts, as bathing suit cover-ups, with boyfriend jeans and even dressed up with skirts, as pictured below! A basic ribbed tank looks amazing when accessorized with a printed scarf or pop color statement necklace.
