Much like its counterpart, the chambray shirt, the chambray dress is one of the most versital items you can own during the seasonal transition between summer and fall. It’s a wardrobe staple that is trending this season, for good reason, since it goes with just about everything!
When I say “everything,” here’s what I mean :: Wear with sandals now, and ballet flats, booties or tall boots into Fall, wear bare-legged or under tights, wear alone or layered with a vest, jacket or blazer, and pair with literally any color and style accessories from beads to bling, brights to neutrals, scarves to necklaces.
Here’s how I’m wearing a Gap chambray dress {that is currently on sale} now for warm weather. Come Fall, I plan on pairing this dress with ankle booties and layering with a fitted leather jacket or a darker-wash denim vest.
