Today I am excited to introduce you to another company, GAIA, that is doing some amazing things to support women.
GAIA creations are handmade by resettled refugee women in Dallas using vintage, artisan-made, & sustainable materials.
Their mission is to empower marginalized women through employment, encouragement, and dedication to their long-term success in thier own local communities.
These GAIA bags are beautiful and unique, and the new Mini Collection for little girls is absolutely the cutest! Lily and I had so much fun styling our bags, and Lily has been carrying her mini heart purse everywhere she goes. She knows the story behind the creation of her bag, and proudly tells her friends about the brave women who handmade her special purse.
I love that my fold-over bag doubles as a clutch and a crossbody. The chain removes and it can be folded to show more or less leather and/or textile to totally change up the look! Plus, the tassel is such a fab touch!
These bags and creations make fantastic Mother’s Day gifts, and there is still time to order and receive gifts in time for Sunday.
