You all heard me rave about the fitness and swimwear company, Albion Fit, a couple months back, when I wore their super cute Floral Bikini here on the blog. I'm excited to be styling more Albion Fit today, this time a pair of fun floral leggings and a neon pink top, which have quickly become my two of my favorite pieces of workout-wear. I love that Albion Fit designs with real women in mind {particularly for us moms}, and their clothes fit like a dream. So, yes, that means that the leggings sit high enough to cover any "muffin top" and have the perfect amount of stretch to fit and flatter the butt and legs. Their tanks are cut long, which I also love, so you don't have to worry about them riding up during workouts. Be sure to read to the end of this post for a discount code!

I've had a surprising amount of blog readers and Instagram followers inquire over the past few months about what I do to workout. I am by no way a fitness guru, but do love working out and challenging my body. {I also love to eat, drink wine and have a major sweet tooth so working out is necessary for balance!} My goal is to workout 6 days a week, with one of those days being a yoga day, simply because I feel best when I am exercising reguarly. But, because I am a busy working mama of toddler twins, I definitely don't hit this goal each week, and try to give myself lots of grace when I don't!

That said, here's my "ideal" Weekly Workout Routine ::

1. Weight training 2x a week. I recently started working out with a trainer who is introducing me to lots of weight lifting while standing and stepping on a Bosu Ball. It's challanging my core and my balance like crazy while I lift, and I love it. I also love weight-lifting classes like TCX at Lifetime Fitness and Body Pump at the YMCA, and have been loyal to these classes over the past few years.

2. Cardio 3x week. I like to mix this up with running, walking, spinning and cardio classes {like TCX}. I am currently doing a lot of "optimum fat burn" cardio through walking at a high incline on the treadmill for 45-60 minutes.

3. Hot yoga 1x week. This is my new obsession. I never knew it was possible to sweat as much as I do in hot yoga! {I thought living two summers in Texas would have prepared me!} And I love the feeling of "detox" from sweating it out while getting a great strength workout, plus lots of stretching and relaxation. This is my new Saturday morning ritual, and I would love to find time to do this twice a week.

4. Lots of weighted lunges and squats! People primarily ask me what I do for leg workouts. So in addition to the above routine, I do a ton of lunges and squats. I just don't think there is any way around doing this to get defined legs. So, I try to throw these into my daily routine, and take a couple minutes to work out my legs even when I don't have time for a full work-out.

5. Barre. Like I said above, I love to mix it up to keep workouts fun! I love barre classes. I did barre workouts 3-4 times a week while I lived in Austin, and got great results. I am starting to mix it into my routine again. If you are looking for a relaxing, yet intense workout to tone those tummys and legs, I highly recommend it!

6. Last but not least, it's my daily goal to take a minimum of 10,000 steps every day. {Which is the recommended amount for everyone.} I love counting on my Vivofit, which I wear nearly everywhere. {When I'm dressed up, I've found clever ways to hide it!} What's amazing is that I am usually over 2500 steps before I leave the house each morning, thanks to chasing two kiddos and running up and down the stairs!

This said, I feel the need to reiterate again that I am NOT a fitness expert, and have a quite way to go to reach my personal fitness goals. Every body is different, so what works for me might not be best for you. I've come to find what works well for my body primarily by seeking advice from personal trainers over the years and by a lot of experimenting with different kinds of workouts. My hope is that you'll be inspired to do the same!

Stylishly yours,
