Beauty & HairLauren-3 Comments

There is something about it being a New Year, that makes it fun to refresh and revamp every part of yourself, from your home to your closet to your workout and beauty routines. We thought it would be fun to share our favorite beauty "must-haves" in a four-part blog series. On the next four Tuesday's, each member of our team will outline our favorite products from makeup and skin care to hair products and nail polish. We hope you will follow along, and also comment and share the products you cannot live without, so that we can try those, too! Today we are focusing on Makeup. Here are our must-have's...

{listed below left to right, top to bottom}

1. Sherri :: Smashbox Photo Finish Foundation Primer.  "This primer seriously makes you look like you've airbrushed your face. Smoothes out all the little lines and imperfections. If I could only ever buy one product again, it would be this one!"

2. Sherri :: Dr. Jart+ Water Fuse Beauty Balm, SPF 25. "Goes on really sheer, but gives just enough coverage. Perfect for girls who don't like to wear a lot of makeup, but still want to look put together. Plus it has SPF, so you kill two birds with one stone."

3. Sherri :: Naked 2 Eye Palette. "This palette makes eye makeup idiot-proof, for people like me! All the colors coordinate beautifully...just don't wear them all at the same time, unless you're going for the Tammy Faye Baker look!"

4. Jackie :: Maybelline Great Lash Mascara. "Sometimes all you need is a little mascara to look refreshed and ready to start the day."

5. Jackie :: Bobbi Brown Foundation w/ SPF 15. "Smooths out fine lines and blemishes giving an even skin tone."

6. Jackie :: Bobbi Brown Navy & Nude Eye Palette. "There is a color for every occasion whether you are headed out for a night on the town or need a cleaner look for running errands."

7. Jennifer :: Stila Color Me Glossy Lip Glaze Set. "When you cannot decide what lip color to wear, this is the perfect glossy set to have on hand! I got one in my stocking and have been sampling all the versatile colors...LOVE!"

8. Jennifer :: "YSL Le Teint Touché. The lady who does my facials turned me on to this light, creamy liquid foundation. I dust a light puff of the powder that goes with it to give me a more matte finish look."

9. Jennifer ::  Little Black Beauty Book-Eye Edition. "I adore this 48-color eye-shadow palette that is easy to throw in your purse if you think you might need to refresh your eyes during the day!"

10. Lauren :: Arbonne CC Cream. "This 10-in-1 Complexion Control Cream is a miracle product in my book! I started using it a few weeks ago and haven't used a foundation since!"

11. Lauren :: Bite Beauty High Pigment Matte Pencil. "I was introduced to this line at Sephora while searching for a perfect berry lip color this Fall. I love these pencils because they are smooth, easy to apply and wear for hours. I layer mine with a shiny gloss. My favorite shades are Amarone, a perfect berry, and Cranberry, a deep red."

12. Lauren :: Benefit Watt's Up Highlighter. "A makeup artist friend who has done my makeup for photoshoots got me hooked on using a highlighter earlier this year. I love the look highlighting the nose and cheekbones a bit. This one is a cream to powder finish and is super easy to apply. You'll notice a brightening effect immediately, as well as a big difference in pictures!"

Tune in next week for the team's favorite nail-polishes!

Stylishly yours,
