Colorful corduroy pants are a Fall staple in my book. I have been on the look out for great fitting, comfortable cords over the past few weeks, for both myself and for my clients, and here are my five favorites. {I’ve personally tried on each of these pants, and can vouch for style and comfort.}
1. My VERY favorite cords of the season are by the Pilcro Serif Cord Legging, available at Anthropologie. Words cannot describe how comfortable these pants are! These are super skinny, and perfect for tucking into boots.
Here I am wearing my new Pilcro’s in the color “purple,” which is actually a pretty burgandy/oxblood shade. {Lots of other colors are available, too.}
2. Another fab pair of cords, also sold at Anthropologie, are the AG Stevie Ankle Cords. {Available in a full length version, too.} AG never fails to offer incredible flattery and style. I am personally ob-sessed with this yellow pair.
3. I am continually impressed with the fit and quality of KUT from the Kloth denim and cords, for such a reasonable price-point. This season, KUT is offering both a skinny and a bootcut style cordoroy, both avaiable in an array of colors, and both pictured below.
4. J.Crew offers fab cords year after year in so many great colors. This season, you can pick from bootcut, Matchstick and Toothpick styles. {My personal go-to is the Toothpick, pictured below.}
5. Last but not least, J.Crew Factory Cords are a great option for a great price. {You can usually score these pants for an additional 30-50% off, depending on the current sale, and now you can shop the Factory Store online anytime!} These are available in a “Straight and Narrow” cut {pictured}, as well as a skinny cut.
