Friday Five

Casual Outfit Inspiration, Dressy Outfit Inspiration, TravelLaurenComment

Happy Friday from the beach! My family and I have enjoyed a week on Amelia Island and are headed back to Georgia today far a weekend at the lake at the Ritz Lake Oconee. I could used to back to back vacations!

Here are five of my favorite things this week ::

1. This flutter-sleeve swimsuit. This is my favorite swimsuit of the summer...and possibly my favorite ever. The fit is perfect and the flutter sleeves are just so fun and unique! An added bonus is that the sleeves protect your shoulders and arms from the sun. This suit also looks adorable paired with denim shorts or cutoffs. It runs true to size. I am wearing a size 4. You can also find it in additional sizes on here and here.

2. This gingham top. I wore this comfy outfit to travel to the beach Monday. I just love how breezy and comfy this $45 gingham top is! It runs generous so I recommend sizing down. I am wearing an XS.

3. This crochet suit. This is another new suit that is quickly becoming a favorite. You cannot go wrong with a black suit and this one is extra chic and flattering. I cannot tell you how many compliments I received walking around the resort in it!

4. This striped top. I am a firm believer that a gal cannot own too many striped tops. This colorful version is just happy and fun! It will be a great piece to layer under cardigans and jackets for Fall.

5. This off the shoulder top. You all know know I love off the shoulder tops...but they are not all created equally in terms of comfort and staying put! This one is a recent purchase and a favorite because it really does stay in place. The embroidery detail is gorgeous. And it is 40% off and under $30 this weekend!

I'll be at the Ritz Lake Oconee with the family all weekend, and doing a lot of Instastories of our adventures. Be sure to follow along over on Instagram @laurenlefevre.

Stylishly yours,

P.S. There are just two days left to shop the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale! It ends tomorrow, so be sure to snag anything left on your wish list and Fall shopping list ASAP. Friday Five :: Monday Edition

Casual Outfit Inspiration, Travel, Swimwear, Beauty & HairLaurenComment

Hello from Hilton Head Island! I decided to join my mom on a spontaneous trip to the beach at the end of last week, so my normal "Friday Five" post didn't get written and posted as usual! Since the Friday posts have been such a hit and because I had some super cute pieces to include, I thought I would just share today, even though it's Monday.

Here are five of my current favorite things ::

1. This peplum. I love a good peplum top because they are usually ultra flattering and feminine on every body type. This one is both, and the slightly longer length is perfect, too! And did I mention it's just $38? Note that in the online picture, it looks black. It's actually more of a dark blue in person! Here is another very similar peplum option and here is the fun $32 pom-pom necklace I am wearing.

swimsuit | slides | hat | sunglasses | sunscreen | towel {only $25! save an extra 10% with code EDITBYLAUREN}

2. These slides. Y'all have to snag a pair of these slide sandals! They are $35 and come in multiple colors and are oh-so-comfy! {Just be sure to size up!} I am loving this bright pink, and also love them in leopard print!

3. This one-piece. This bright-colored suit is so fun and super flattering. The front straps can also be worn criss-crossed in the front for a completely different look!

top | sunglasses | earrings | bag | shorts | shoes

4. This top. This is the perfect little vacation top. It's $44, comfy and stays well put over the shoulders {except for when you are trying to take a downward selfie!}. It would also be cute for a backyard cookout or themed summer party! I absolutely love it with paired these fun yellow earrings!

5. This skincare. I'll be posting a full blog post all about Beauty Counter and my decision to #switchtosafer soon, but wanted to go ahead and share three products that are keeping my skin clear and radiant this summer! I have been consciously switching my family's skincare products over to safer products over the past year, and have become absolutely passionate about Beauty Counter's mission to get safe skincare and beauty products in the hands of everyone! I joined the Beauty Counter movement this week and couldn't be more excited.

All that said, I have been using the Beauty Counter Balancing Collection for a while now, and these three products have totally cleared up my skin! My oily/acne-prone skin is looking smooth and radiant, without having to treat it with harsh chemicals! The Balancing Charcoal Mask is the BEST mask I have ever used {which says a lot because I have tried A LOT of masks!}. It literally can clear up skin in one use, and can be used a blemish spot treatment, too. I LOVE it! {This collection can be purchased as a bundle or each product individually.} For cleansing, I use the Charcoal Cleansing Bar in the morning and the Cleansing Balm at night to remove all my makeup.

To celebrate my launch with Beauty Counter, I am giving away a Lip Conditioner in your choice of either Peppermint or Calendula  {$20 value} with every purchase of $50 or more that is under my social called "Lauren's Summer Skin Social." To place an order, simply click here and then click "view details" in the upper right hand screen to select my social. Feel free to email me at lauren@editbylauren.com with any questions about the products, joining Beauty Counter or how to place an order!

Reward Style Conference outfit recap

Dressy Outfit Inspiration, Travel, Spring/Summer StyleLaurenComment

If you follow me on social media, you know I spent this past weekend in Dallas for my third consecutive Reward Style blogger conference. This is one of my favorite trips each year, since it is an opportunity to connect with blogger friends from around the country as well as a venue to meet with brands about collaborations and partnerships. It's always a busy, fun-filled trip, and this year's conference was my favorite yet!

Here's what I wore ::

I wore this adorable embroidered dress for traveling to Dallas and a fun lunch with my blogger friends at Mi Cocina in Highland Park. Next time you travel to Dallas, you have to dine at Mi Cocina..it's my favorite Dallas Tex Mex! {For size reference, this dress runs blousy. I am wearing an XS Petite.}

I wore this flirty floral number to kick off the conference at the Sole Society poolside party Thursday evening. I love the shape and the back of this dress! I paired it with these amazing blue petal earrings and these wedges for a perfect garden party/pool party look.

I love this little $74 dress so much that I will be doing a full post about it later this week! I wore this look for meetings Friday and to a picnic lunch at Shake Shack hosted by Banana Republic.

If you haven't noticed that I am wearing these lace up wedges A LOT, it's because they are so comfortable and versatile! It really is amazing how they seemingly go with everything.

I sported this white on white look for Friday's night's cocktail party with Bumble. {How cute is the yellow carpet?!} This lace dress is my truly favorite white dress ever. The detailing and fit are beyond gorgeous, and it's a timeless piece that is well worth the investment. {It runs small, so size up at least one size. I am wearing a size 6 for reference.} I have also linked a few very similar, less expensive dress options below.

Topshop hosted a beautiful garden party themed lunch for us on Saturday. How amazing is this wall of fresh-flowers?!

This black and white look was one of my favorite outfits of the weekend. I cannot get enough of these fun pom-pom heels {that are surprisingly comfortable and under-$100!} and this pop-color statement necklace that's under-$30! This outfit goes to show that a classic black and white look is anything but boring!

Saturday night's Finale Party was a black-tie affair at Dallas' Wyly Theatre and I couldn't have been happier about this glam black dress. It's hands-down the favorite black dress I have ever worn, and is the kind of dress you actually feel comfortable in all evening! I paired it with oversized gold earrings and sleek gold ankle-strap sandals, and loved the final look!

I am linking this dress from three different stores below, since it's available at each vendor in different sizes. I am wearing a size 4 for reference. Sadly my earrings are sold out, so I am also linking several similar options below.

Sunday's travel look included this comfy romper, my trusty wedges, my adorable new luggage and LOTS of coffee! I am so obsessed with this DVF luggage set. It's shockingly affordable at $299 for a three piece set and comes in multiple color options!

Of course, I had to make a stop at the new LiketoKnow.It wall while in town. This ruffled red dress was a look I packed but didn't have a chance to actually wear at the conference, but was perfect to shoot in front of this colorful mural! This dress is so fun for a Spring wedding or evening cocktail event!

Last but not least, the highlight of the weekend was spending quality time with so many amazing ladies who are beautiful both inside and out. I roomed with these five women who have all become dear friends and who encourage me daily. The best part about blogging has been building these relationships!

We are teaming up with Plum Pretty Sugar to giveaway three of these gorgeous robes, so be sure to head over to Instagram @laurenlefevre to enter between now and Wednesday!

Stylishly yours,

P.S. I prepped my skin for the conference the day before I left with an amazing Hydra Facial with Dermaplaning at WIFH Atlanta. I cannot tell you how smooth, plump and flawless my skin looks, and how my makeup glides on effortlessly. This is by far the best facial I've ever had and I love that it delivered immediate results! I am excited to begin a partnership with WIFH and cannot more highly recommend this medical spa! Enjoy $20 off a HydraFacial with code EDITBYLAUREN, and stay tuned more more about WIFH coming to the blog and social media soon.
