This year’s New York Fashion Week was an absolute blast and one of the highlights of the trip was hosting a “Rooftop Recharge” Blogger Brunch with two friends, Tara and Amanda, for some of our favorite blogger gals. This was an idea I had been kicking around with my friend, Tara, for about a year and it was so exciting to see it all come into fruition!
We hosted a Sunday brunch at a gorgeous rooftop restaurant called Haven, which sits at the top of the beautiful Sanctuary Hotel, located nearby by Rockefeller Center and Times Square. Fifteen lovely bloggers from around the country joined us for breathtaking views, delicious food, bottomless mimosas and rose sangria {which was amaze!}, and lively conversation! It was a welcomed break from the hustle and bustle of Fashion Week, allowing all of us ladies to kick up our feet, connect and relax before we started a busy day.
Tara {aka “Martha Stewart”} coordinated the brunch decor, choosing a palette of blush, gray and burgundy, coordinating with the gorgeous backpacks Henri Bendel gifted each guest. Gorgeous florals by New York Plaza Florist completed the colorful tablescape.

I wore the cutest ASOS metallic floral dress that is a perfect dress to wear Spring through Fall! I loved this dress for an outdoor brunch but it would also be perfect for a Fall wedding, and can be layered with a cropped jacket in cooler weather. It’s under $100 and so comfy. {This dress only comes in Petite sizing for some reason. I am 5’7 and wearing a size 4 for size reference. The dress is roomy, so it helps compensate for the slightly shorter cut.} I have to also make mention of my heels, that have been go-to favorites of mine since I purchased them in July for Miami Swim Week. These Steve Madden Bowwtye heels are such versatile dressy shoes, look just like a MUCH more expensive designer version, come in four colors and are currently on sale for under $60!
